6) Show off your new items! 🙂

Well guys, since I’m SO behind the ball on this whole blogging thing I’ve decided to back log my fixes from the past two years. These will just be short impressions of the items that I received with pictures of the style cards included. There will not always be pictures of myself, because I wasn’t big into reveals that long ago. Feel free to pin away!

Fix #3

I’m not sure where Junie thinks that I went, but I hadn’t taken any breaks between my fixes, so that was a little confusing for me. Kind of a put off, actually, but an easy enough mistake (I guess).
In case you’ve been following along, I still don’t have a Pinterest board at this point.
Henry & Belle Abana Ankle Length Skinny Jean – $148

I’m slowly coming to terms with the fact that no matter how much I love the look and feel of Stitch Fix pants, they will never be miraculous enough to make me look like I have a butt. Oh well, what can you do? These pants are very comfy and flattering, and I didn’t own any black pants before this so I was 100% on board!

19 Cooper Cathleen Abstract Print Tulip-Sleeve Blouse – $68

Ok, Junie, we need to talk. I realize it’s as much my fault, because I don’t have a Pinterest board linked and probably gave little direction in my note back then, but I really have a hard time believing my style profile indicates that I would like this kind of shirt. Deep breath. Forever growing.
RETURNED.

Papermoon Tessa Chevron Print Sleeveless Blouse – $44

I probably disliked the chevron print and didn’t keep this blouse as a result. It was also probably just a tad too big. Today I think it’s rather cute, but I have my doubts that I would keep it still. I’ve just seen too much else of what Stitch Fix has to offer!
RETURNED.

Collective Concepts Esten Button-Up Sleeveless Blouse – $54

I’m not sure why I kept this blouse. I think I just wanted to keep a shirt from a fix so badly that I took the dive. It clearly doesn’t fit. Two years, and I’ve never worn it to this day. Still brand new with tags attached. I currently have it up on my Poshmark for sale. Maybe someone else can get some enjoyment out of it!

41Hawthorn Abrianna Longsleeve Knit Cardigan – $48

I LOVE this cardigan! I barely ever wear cardi’s, but I’ve gotten so much use out of this one. It’s a navy color, so neutral and goes with everything. Very comfy, and tapered so that it’s longer in the front a little bit. Such a good buy!

So, a 3/5 (really more of a 2/5). Not too bad, but not too great in this instance. I was probably really excited at the time, but looking back it was kind of.. eh. On to the next!

Fix #4

I really loved Jaclyn’s note. It referenced the fact that I wanted fitted items, loved romantic styles, and demonstrated knowledge of what the weather was like in NY. It feels great to know that someone is actually paying attention to you!

Pink Martini Marlon Oversized Collar Double Breasted Pea Coat – $168 (?)

Very pretty color, but also very heavy. Not to mention I didn’t like the fabric very much. It felt.. wirey? Does that make sense?
RETURNED.

Daniel Rainn Aveda Sheer Cinched Waist Blouse – $68

I don’t remember trying on this shirt, but obviously I hadn’t started my love affair with Daniel Rainn yet. Probably too big and that’s why I didn’t keep it.
RETURNED.

Market and Spruce Memphis Lace Overlay Knit Shirt – $58

Isn’t it so funny how your tastes change over time? I received this shirt and probably immediately sent it back (I wouldn’t have liked the dark color, and it was too big). A year later I had pinned the same shirt in white and was wondering why they wouldn’t send it. Because I’d already returned one and forgotten! Duh! Oh silly.
RETURNED.

Level 99 Giovanni Straight Leg Jean – $98

Wow. I, uh.. I buy a lot of pants from Stitch Fix. Like.. a pair for every fix. These pants were really soft and comfortable. A little on the long side, but I wear them rolled most of the time to make up for it. Their grey, so they pretty much go with everything.

41Hawthorn Lex Textured Floral Knit Fit & Flare Dress – $74

I was really excited to finally be sent a dress! It was very pretty, but I’ve only worn it once since purchasing it. It’s currently on my Poshmark for sale 🙂

Another 2/5. Not too bad, but I think I was becoming discouraged about the fact that I wasn’t keeping any tops. Oh well, there was always next time!

Well this has been a fun trip down memory lane! I hope I’ve given my fellow Fixers an insight into what Stitch Fix was sending two years ago, and some inspiration for your Pinterests 🙂 Thanks so much for choosing to read my little blog.

Until next time!
– Tia 🙂
