Well guys, since I’m SO behind the ball on this whole blogging thing I’ve decided to back log my fixes from the past two years. These will just be short impressions of the items that I received with pictures of the style cards included. There will not always be pictures of myself, because I wasn’t big into reveals that long ago. Feel free to pin away!
Fix #11
My second fix with my new senior stylist, Elizabeth. This time I asked for some items for a really important upcoming interview. It was for my DREAM job, working on the NICU! I asked for pencil skirts with some shirts to match. I asked that they be colorful with fun details to show off my personality.
Skies are Blue Tula Keyhole Detail Blouse – $48
I liked the color of this blouse, but I didn’t really have anything to wear with it that would match. It didn’t exactly go with any of the skirts that she had sent me. It was also just a touch too big and boxy on me. I still had yet to change my sizing in my profile from S to XS.
RETURNED.
Mystree Robyn Textured Pencil Skirt – $?
Elizabeth was right, this skirt is to DIE for! It is my most complimented on piece in Stitch Fix history. It really made me feel confident and amazing when I walked into my job interview that day. My only complaint is that I wish it came with a slip underneath, because as you can tell it’s really sheer. I just wear a pair of spanx under it and that solves the problem.

41Hawthorn Filbert 3/4 Sleeve Popover Blouse – $58
This shirt was just HUGE on me. It ate me alive!
RETURNED.
41Hawthorn Yasmine French Terry Blazer – $78
This blazer fits like a dream and it’s SO soft! It also has pockets, which oddly enough isn’t something I can find in a lot of blazers.
KEPT.
Margaret M Christiana Floral Print Pencil Skirt – $78
I didn’t really like the way that this skirt fit. It was on the longer side, and really stiff. That aside, I really didn’t need two pencil skirts (I barely ever have to dress business), and I was DEFINITELY buying the other one.
RETURNED.
This fix was a 2/5, but it definitely gave me everything I needed and asked for! In the end, that’s all that really mattered.
Fix #12 (Happy anniversary Stitch Fix!)
I totally DID rock my interview! It makes me so happy that she references past things like that. I’m so glad that she feels comfortable enough to send me items in other sizes that she thinks I will love.
Urban Expressions Kitty Floral Print Envelope Clutch – $?
Oh my gosh, these are some OLD pictures! They’re from the first time I ever did a reveal on the boards (yes, I FINALLY found it). I don’t know what this weird face is all about, but I still LOVE this clutch/crossbody!
KEPT.
Skies are Blue Calvin Halter Blouse – $48
This is one of my absolute favorite blouses! I just love the print, it’s so cute. It was a little big on me, so I e-mailed customer service for my very first size exchange. Afterwards they kindly suggested reviewing my profile and perhaps changing my size from S to XS (doy!).
KEPT.
Mavi Ruxin Boyfriend Jean – $128
These jeans are probably best pictured above. They are super comfy and I love the wash. There is just the right amount of distressing (tiny). These were the first pair of boyfriend jeans I had ever tried on. Talk about world changing!
KEPT.
Gilli Kamile Jersey Ruched Detail Dress – $58
This dress fits like it was made for me and it really accents my curves, which is hard to do because my body type is basically “ironing board.” I really like the ruching especially. I wore this to my anniversary dinner last year and Matt loved it 🙂
KEPT.
Market & Spruce Chaplin Hooded Anorak Cargo Jacket – $88
The jacket that I pinned and my stylist took the chance to send me in a size smaller. I’m totally in love. It’s the perfect lightweight jacket for spring and it goes with absolutely anything. The sleeves are the perfect length, which is something I usually have trouble with.

Holy wow! My first 5/5! Isn’t that just an amazing feeling!? And my first experience with a size exchange request. No longer will you have to hear me complain about how big the blouses they send me were!
Well this has been a fun trip down memory lane! I hope I’ve given my fellow Fixers an insight into what Stitch Fix was sending two years ago, and some inspiration for your Pinterests 🙂 Thanks so much for choosing to read my little blog.
Until next time!
– Tia 🙂
