Bridal Shower Perfection. Cute and Feminine! Stitch Fix Review #13 and #14

Well, hello there!

This is what it looks like to be on the watch for your owners Stitch Fix delivery. HIGH ALERT.

And this is what it looks like when your owners Stitch Fix actually arrives.
ER MER GERD!

Here’s how Stitch Fix works:
1) Sign up and create your own personal style profile
2) Schedule your first shipment (how exciting!)
3) Receive and try on your clothing in the comfort of your own home, styled with pieces that you already own
4) Check out online, within 3 days. Leave detailed feedback about what you loved and what you didn’t like so much. Every bit of information helps your stylist grow
5) Mail back your returns in the provided pre-paid envelope
6) Show off your new items! 🙂

Well guys, since I’m SO behind the ball on this whole blogging thing I’ve decided to back log my fixes from the past two years. These will just be short impressions of the items that I received with pictures of the style cards included. There will not always be pictures of myself, because I wasn’t big into reveals that long ago. Feel free to pin away!

Fix #13

Oh, I GOT THE JOB, by the way 🙂 This Fix also marks the day that I moved in with Matt (hence the comment about the “new house,” haha). This is what I love so much about Elizabeth! She is so personable and fun.

Pixley Clarice Multi Stripe Knit Dress – $74

This dress was really cute and fit well, but the stripes sort of hurt my eyes and give me a headache.
RETURNED.

Gilli Brogan Maxi Dress – $?

I have marked in my style profile to NEVER send maxi length anything. Matt is 6’6″ and I have a hard enough time as it is appearing tall enough next to him. I’m always trying to find ways to make my legs look longer, and maxi’s just don’t do it for me.
RETURNED.

BRIXON IVY Marcio Scalloped Camisole Blouse – $?

I really hate scalloping. I feel like it ages me. This camisole was just a little too basic for me to be able to justify keeping.
RETURNED.

Collective Concepts Rosco Floral Print Crochet Detail Tank – $58

I apologize for the terrible quality, but I have night shift brain so it was 1 AM when I took these reveal pictures. Now this is what I’m talking about! So cute and fits perfectly.
KEPT.

Dear John Lillie Cuffed Short – $58

I requested some shorts in this Fix, and really loved the wash of these. I hated how long they were though. They were probably to my mid-thigh and I prefer a shorter inseam. So sad!
RETURNED.

Coming off of my first 5/5 and only having a 1/5 was a hard pill to swallow, but everyone has their off days and I was determined that Elizabeth was still the stylist for me.

Fix #14

This fix I asked for some items for my upcoming job orientation and a friend’s bridal shower. Elizabeth totally nailed it in some aspects, and not so much in others.

41Hawthorn Flynn Colorblock Sleeveless Blouse – $58

I was so happy that Elizabeth was able to find this blouse for me based on my Pinterest. It fits amazingly and I love the red and navy combo.
KEPT.

41Hawthorn Milan Lace Print Back Pleat Blouse – $58

You might remember from my fourth fix that I received this blouse in green and loved it, but sadly had to send it back because it didn’t fit. Well, after putting it on my Pinterest, Elizabeth was able to find it for me in white. Unfortunately, even in an XS it still didn’t fit right 🙁
RETURNED.

Collective Concepts Rana Floral Dress – $?

I really wish this picture wasn’t so shadowy. I love this dress. It’s cute and feminine and the perfect option for my friend’s bridal shower. It’s a tie-back dress, so it fits very nicely.
KEPT.

Market & Spruce Ernesto Striped Fitted Dress – $78

I kept this dress, because I loved the way it fit and I was really attracted to the animal print (which I didn’t own any of). Well, a whole year later and I’ve still yet to find the right occasion to wear it to. Sigh. This gorgeous dress has found its way to my Poshmark if anyone is interested in purchasing.
KEPT.

Renee C Alondra Ruched Pencil Skirt – $58

I did ask for something a little business casual for my orientation, but I really didn’t like the fabric that this skirt was made out of. It was clingy and the front draping looked awkward on me.
RETURNED.

3/5, I’ll take it! Thanks Elizabeth 🙂

Well this has been a fun trip down memory lane! I hope I’ve given my fellow Fixers an insight into what Stitch Fix was sending last year, and some inspiration for your Pinterests 🙂 Thanks so much for choosing to read my little blog.

Until next time!
– Tia 🙂
