Ya’ll have been called out.
WHAT TIME IS IT!?
Stitch Fix review time!
Here’s how Stitch Fix works:
1) Sign up and create your own personal style profile
2) Schedule your first shipment (how exciting!)
3) Receive and try on your clothing in the comfort of your own home, styled with pieces that you already own
4) Check out online, within 3 days. Leave detailed feedback about what you loved and what you didn’t like so much. Every bit of information helps your stylist grow
5) Mail back your returns in the provided pre-paid envelope
6) Show off your new items! 🙂
Well guys, since I’m SO behind the ball on this whole blogging thing I’ve decided to back log my fixes from the past two years. These will just be short impressions of the items that I received with pictures of the style cards included. There will not always be pictures of myself, because I wasn’t big into reveals that long ago. Feel free to pin away!
Fix #19
For this fix I was really hoping to find a winter coat for what I was sure was going to be an annoying NY winter. It was actually very mild. We didn’t even have our first snow fall until January. Odd. Anyway! I asked for a sort of trench coat or tie front jacket (peacoat?), but I hadn’t seen anyone else on the boards receive one so I didn’t have high hopes. I actually really wanted to avoid being sent a puffer coat, or anything with faux fur, but that didn’t work out entirely in my favor.
Lysse Whitley Sueded Legging – $98
I was really excited to see I’d been sent another pair of leggings, because I loved the Kiley Zipper leggings they’d sent me in one of my previous fixes. These were heavy and thick and I wasn’t sure about wearing suede in the snow.
RETURNED.
Adrianna Papell Kalla Dress – $78
This dress came from my Pinterest and at first I wasn’t going to keep it because of how low cut it was. I prefer to be a little more modest in that area, if you know what I mean. But Matt insisted that I keep it. I still haven’t found an occasion to wear it to. It’s too dressy for a family party, and we don’t attend a lot of other functions. Sigh.

Daniel Rainn Cadez Crew Neck Blouse – $64
Daniel Rainn Cadez Crew Neck Blouse – $64
My love affair with Daniel Rainn continues.. 🙂 Cute pattern and long enough to cover my butt. It’s a win win situation.
KEPT.
Andrew Marc Loksa Down Puffer Coat – $118
This coat was so soft and comfy and warm. It was everything that I needed and wanted in a coat, but I was so sure that I DID NOT want a puffer coat that I sent it back. I sincerely regret that decision now.
RETURNED.
Coffeeshop Mayella Faux Fur Hood Trim Coat – $128
This jacket was really big in an oversized, not so cute, kind of way. I’m also not really a fan of fur hoods.
RETURNED.
2/5. Not bad, just a little disappointed that I haven’t found my dream coat yet. Or maybe I did and I sent it back? D:
Fix #20
I really overloaded Elizabeth with a lot of information for this fix. Matt’s sister’s engagement party was coming up, followed by a wine tour, and then Valentine’s Day! I was a SUPER busy girl! I didn’t expect her to find me an outfit for each of my events, but I think it’s just lovely and personalized that she felt the need to.
Renee C Naveen Dress – $?
I wanted to love this dress. The pattern and colors were beautiful. Unfortunately, sheath type dresses just DON’T work for my ironing board body.
RETURNED.
Latte Tambov Textured Coat – $?
I really appreciate that Elizabeth was still looking for the perfect coat for me. However, this coat was very big on me, and it had a really scratchy feel to it. The hunt continues!
RETURNED.
Papermoon Aprilla Dress – $58
I actually wore this dress to the wine tour and it was perfection! I paired it with a black moto jacket that she had sent me from a previous fix as suggested.
KEPT.
Everly Fran Scallop Edge Dress – $64
I liked this dress in theory.. but the SCALLOPS, ugh! I hate them so! If you’ve never read another of my blog posts I’ll clue you in: I feel like scalloping ages women. I’ve never found an article of clothing that makes me think otherwise (on myself).
RETURNED.
Market & Spruce Mainy Pullover Sweater – $68
I think I love this sweater. It’s so fun! Color blocking and dots!

Another 2/5. Other people might call this a rut, but personally, as long as I LOVE the two items I’m keeping I am a happy girl!
Well this has been a fun trip down memory lane! I hope I’ve given my fellow Fixers an insight into what Stitch Fix was sending last year, and some inspiration for your Pinterests 🙂 Thanks so much for choosing to read my little blog.
Until next time!
– Tia 🙂
