Well guys, since I’m SO behind the ball on this whole blogging thing I’ve decided to back log my fixes from the past two years. Feel free to pin away!

We’re starting to catch up guys!

#25

For this Fix I specifically asked for another fun pair of shoes, a split-back top, and a pair of short shorts as well as some fun summer tops.

Miz Mooz Serafina Slip-On Sneakers – $59

These shoes run SUPER small. I had them pinned, so I was totally excited to receive them, but I could barely squeeze my feet into the 6.5’s. Luckily, customer service was able to find me a replacement. I had to go up a whole size to a 7.5. I love the mint color and the floral print, not to mention that when the shoes fit right they are really comfortable.
KEPT.

Market and Spruce Mora Textured Short – $58

It seemed that every pair of shorts Courtney sent me were way too long for my liking. I’m more of a “short shorts” kind of girl, so that’s what I asked for in my note this month. She sent me these, which was great because they were another item on my Pinterest page. Unfortunately they were still too long, and also very bulky and unflattering on my skinny legs. If I unrolled them (which I could) they went all the way down to my knees. Yikes! I was so sad to see them go, but customer service couldn’t find me an XS pair. Oh well.
RETURNED.

Fun2Fun Edwin Crochet Panel Blouse – $38

This shirt is really tame in the front, and a party in the back. Courtney made note of how badly I wanted an exaggerated split-back type of top and sent me this. I absolutely love it!
KEPT.

THML Kyle Embroidered Top – $54

Another top from my Pinterest board. I love the paisley pattern and the yellow details. The fit is great and the keyhole is a nice touch. I was dying to get my hands on this one!

Skies Are Blue Ferula Babydoll Top – $54

When I peeked I was a little skeptical about this top. I really don’t like babydoll cuts. I find them to be unflattering on myself. I was hoping I’d be wrong, but unfortunately I wasn’t. Not to mention, the straps weren’t adjustable and it showed off just enough of my chest that I wasn’t comfortable.
RETURNED.

So the verdict is a 3/5! That’s wonderful! And I had $50 worth of referral credits from lovely people that I know so all together my cost was only $81. I couldn’t be happier!

#26

For this Fix I asked for some fun items for an upcoming vacation to Cancun for my birthday (okay, it’s not until November, but I figured there wasn’t any harm in starting early). I asked for bold colors and fun prints.

Street Level Anchorage Diamond Printed Tote – $64

I’m going to be honest. I hated this tote. The pattern wasn’t even remotely interesting to me. I did love how big it was though. It would have been the perfect size for a plane carryon. I could have sat in it and someone could have carried me around (minor exaggeration).
RETURNED.

Papermoon Kentford Crochet Detail Knit Top – $44

This top was nice, I suppose. If I kept anything from this Fix it would have been this, but I wasn’t in love with it. It was just.. nice.
RETURNED.

Gilli Reilly Printed Maxi Skirt – $54

I’m only a touch annoyed because I have in my profile to never send me anything that is maxi length. Matt is 6’6″, a full 1’1″ taller than me, so I really don’t need anything making me appear shorter next to him than I already am. Maxi’s make me lose a lot of length, because I have long legs and a short torso. That being said, it definitely meets the requirement of bright colors and fun patterns!
RETURNED.

Skies Are Blue Hagen Tie-Sleeve Top – $54

This top was supposed to be my saving grace! It came from off of my Pinterest board and I wanted to love it so badly, but it was so big on me that it really wouldn’t have made any sense to keep it. It was way too low cut in the front for me to feel comfortable in it.
RETURNED.

Papermoon Mensier Spaghetti Strap Top – $38

Hahahahahaha. Okay. Let me start by saying that this top confused the crap out of me. The straps are supposed to cross in the back and (probably) look really cool, but I couldn’t for the life of my figure out how to get it on! I kept getting tangeled in the straps, and eventually I just gave up and ended up with what is pictured above. The material was really soft, but I just can’t purchase a shirt that I can’t even figure out how to put on.
RETURNED.

Well that was a rough 0/5. And none of it was Courtney’s fault. She fulfilled my requests, I just didn’t end up liking any of the items. Oh well. Better luck to both of us next time!

Well this has been a fun trip down memory lane! I hope I’ve given my fellow Fixers an insight into what Stitch Fix was sending last year, and some inspiration for your Pinterests 🙂 Thanks so much for choosing to read my little blog.

Until next time!
– Tia 🙂
