Wow, fam, I disappeared from a very long time this time. I’m in full wedding planning mode, so when I’m not having anxiety attacks about that I’m either working, eating, or sleeping. Annnnnd.. I hope that excuse is sufficient, because that’s all I’ve got!
Here’s how Stitch Fix works:
1) Sign up and create your own personal style profile
2) Schedule your first shipment (how exciting!)
3) Receive and try on your clothing in the comfort of your own home, styled with pieces that you already own
4) Check out online, within 3 days. Leave detailed feedback about what you loved and what you didn’t like so much. Every bit of information helps your stylist grow
5) Mail back your returns in the provided pre-paid envelope
6) Show off your new items! 🙂

I don’t even remember what I asked for for this Fix. I know, I know. I’m literally the worst. I had to dig up my stylist’s note to remind myself. Wah wah..

Papermoon Hansin Lace Detail Knit Top – $37
This shirt is so cute. I love the subtle colors and stripes. Stripes are usually a big no for me, so I was pleasantly surprised by this top. It combines my love for dolmans and feminine details like florals and lace. The back is great and the top is very lightweight. Perfect for spring!

Le Lis Adler Floral Button-Up Cardigan – $54
Hmm.. There’s my kind of floral and then there’s “grandma” floral (sorry grandma!). I’m not a huge fan of this cardigan and it’s not just because of the print. I think something about the button up style throws me off as well.

Le Lis Sharpen Mixed Material Knit Top – $48
I’d always wanted to try a mixed material shirt. They’re so popular on the boards that I just needed to understand what all of the fuss was about. I think I would have liked it a lot, except I’m not a huge fan of the pattern on the back. Very comfortable style though. Now I’m determined to find the right one even more!

Market & Spruce Cotulla Button Back Sweater – $58
Ah, the Cotulla.. It was only a matter of time before they sent this sweater to me. EVERYONE else is getting it, so I knew it would find its way into my box at one point or another. I actually quite like it. I like that it’s different, with the elbow patches and the button up back (even though every time my fiancé sees it he makes a joke about how my shirt is on backwards – har har..). I also really liked that even though it’s an XS it is still kind of “oversized” on me. I like that in my sweaters. I toyed around with the idea of asking for it in another color, but in the end I kept it as it was.

Papermoon Jaymon Woven Hem Knit Top – $54
Courtney always manages to sneak something from my Pinterest board into my box for me, so I was really excited when I peeked and saw that this was coming my way. I love the built in layered look. It’s not as soft as the Cotulla, but I’m still happy to have it.

I think that a 3/5 is a really great note to go out on for now. Due to wedding planning and budgeting I’ve decided to put my Fixes on hold and only order for special occasions. It’s rough, fam, but I’m somehow surviving in a cold, Stitch Fix-less world.
Thanks again for reading my little blog (even though I’ve left you in the dark for months now). Until we meet again!
