Matt and Tia’s Big Muscle Moving Company
“We’ll move your crap to Batavia, if we have to.”
You don’t really know your significant other’s family until you’ve attempted to help them move. That’s a fact.
Here’s how Stitch Fix works:

I’m still without my bluetooth camera button, but considering my house is a GIGANTIC mess of wedding decorations at the moment I’m hoping that you will all forgive me. I promise I’ll look for it.. eventually.I ordered this Fix because I got an e-mail from Stitch Fix waiving my styling fee if I took a small survey. Uh, heck yes! Plus, I still had some referral credit hanging out and I had enough time before my Jamaican honeymoon to order two boxes if I needed to. This one was mainly to test the waters, although I had total faith that Courtney would nail it.The survery consisted of three simple questions:1) Are there styles, trends or colors you’re excited to try this season? Or, is it a good time to replenish any basics?
2) What is your go-to outfit on weekdays? For the weekend?
3) Describe your style in a few words.
The biggest points I hit on were: cold shoulder tops, strappy booties, pastel colors, crochet, floral, and lace.
(On a side note, have any of you been to Sandals Ocho Rios? Or any Sandals resort? I’d love to hear about your experiences!)
Le Lis Milani Crochet Hem Halter Top – $54
I’m not usually a fan of halter tops, but this one gives me life. The floral print is beautiful and definitely unique and I love the crochet details on the bottom. It gives it kind of a handkerchief type look. I’d have to wear a different bra with it, because the armholes are so large, but the keyhole back is a cute addition.

Rebecca Minkoff Faith Off The Shoulder Blouse – $148
Oh boy. I knew from the peek that I was not going to like this blouse, and I’m usually very reserved with my opinions until I get my actual box. Reasons I knew I wouldn’t like it: holy wow, bright! It looks like a feminine version of a Hawaiian shirt. Also, I loathe off the shoulder tops. You can’t lift your arms without them riding up on you and having to fix yourself. It just wasn’t for me, although I could definitely see how someone else might rock this on their Caribbean vacation.

Napean Sea RD Jiji Lace Cold Shoulder Blouse – $58
Houston, we have a problem.
This blouse hit on a few of the notes I mentioned. It was cold shoulder and lace, and the lace was even floral. But, gosh, was it short. If I can’t comfortably lift my arms in my shirt without baring my entire stomach then it’s kind of a no-go for me. Not to mention, this shirt was really stiff.

Gilli Lyla Knit Dress – $68
Courtney was right. This IS the perfect LBD. And she knows that I’ve been searching for one for forever! Well, now my search is over, because I’m in love with this dress! It’s so soft and comfortable. Plenty of stretch and it makes me feel like I look amazing. And the side ruffle is the perfect touch of detail to make it different.

RD Style Novali Split Back Knit Top – $48
It’s SO hard to take back pictures without bluetooth!
I’m always looking for a good split-back. Recently in a group of friends a conversation came up and it turns out that not too many people that I know are fond of this style of shirt. I absolutely love them! What do you guys think?
This shirt was really soft and super cute. Matt liked the pattern a lot, but there was something weird about the fit that kept from from buying it. It kind of fit, but it kind of didn’t. It was definitely too long and the neckline was too high.
RETURNED.
So I kept 2/5, which I think is pretty great considering this was a no fee, risk free box. I will most definitely bring my new dress with me to Jamaica. Not so sure about the top. Thankfully I have plenty of time to schedule one more box before the big day! 🙂
Thanks so much for reading my little blog!
