#38

I’ve never been an athlete. I used to sit on the field and pick flowers when I was in elementary school and my parents signed me up for soccer. So in the spirit of honesty, I have no need for work out clothes. However, I am in love with the athleisure style. It’s soft, it’s comfy, and it’s probably really easy to fall asleep in after a huge Thanksgiving dinner (wink). Specifically I was hoping for joggers, sweatshirts, and graphic tees. All of which I received!

This is probably the least personal note I’ve received from Courtney in a long time, which makes me a little sad (especially that last part. I mean, what?). Hopefully this is just a one time thing!

Splendid Brooke Jogger Pant – $88

Things that I love about these pants: they are SO soft and amazingly comfy. They fit well in the legs and are a little bit looser in the waist, but there is a drawstring so all is well. There are also pockets, which is key to finding the perfect pair of pants.

Things that I don’t love about these pants: nothing! I think I probably have a low bar of expectations for joggers or sweatpants, haha.
KEPT.

Michael Stars Terra Sweatshirt – $108

Things that I love about this shirt: once again, it’s super soft and comfy. I also think that it’s really awesome that it has thumbholes! If every long sleeve shirt had thumbholes I would be the happiest girl on earth!

Things that I don’t love about this shirt: I’ll give it more credit than I did when I peeked, it’s pretty cute. I still don’t like the camo pattern though. It’s also a hi-lo and very big, so it comes off as baggy. Not to mention, that price tag!
RETURNED.

Knit Riot Fredric Graphic Knit Top – $28

Things that I love about this shirt: it’s fitted and it fits well. It’s super cute, and the price is right! I also really like the neckline! To echo the previous items, it’s also very soft.

Things that I don’t love about this shirt: I can’t even think of a single thing!
KEPT.

Le Lis Anina Embroidered Sleeve Pullover – $64

Things that I love about this top: this top didn’t look like it was going to be all that comfortable when I first pulled it out of the box, but it honestly feels like butter on my skin.

Things that I don’t love about this top: the stripes and the embroidery. The floral is cute and all, but I really just can’t get into this trend. It’s also just a little too big on me, and while I could swing it as “oversized” I just don’t think I like it that much on me.
RETURNED.

Good Hyouman Emy Fleece Do What You Love and Do It Often Graphic Pullover – $58

Things that I love about this pullover: the quote is a super cute touch! I also think that the color is really nice and very Fall.

Things that I don’t love about this pullover: it’s a little on the shorter side, but I think that could be remedied with a simple size exchange. It’s also super thin, more like a long sleeve top than a sweatshirt in my opinion.
EXCHANGED AND HOPE TO KEEP.

Thanks so much to everyone who voted on which items I should keep! A surprising amount of you really thought that I should have kept the Michael Stars, but unfortunately it was just too big on me and they can’t exchange for anything smaller than an XS. We totally agreed on everything else though, which made me really confident with my purchases this month.

Thanks for taking the time to read my little blog! 🙂
