#48

For this Fix I asked Courtney to send me an outfit for our housewarming party (which we’ve still yet to have and we’ve been living here for a month!).

Fortune + Ivy Anwe Cold Shoulder Top – $36

Alright, so this top is ADORABLE! I love love love the colors and pattern, and the fact that it’s a cold shoulder. The sleeves are super cute. Okay, I knew the moment I pulled this shirt out of the box that I would never want to let it go.

Pistola Topanga Cargo Zipper Detail Skinny Pants – $88

Oooh.. I liiiiike these! All these zipper details are super edgy and they fit like a glove. They’re also a cool muted purple-ish color, which I can confidently say that I don’t own yet.
KEPT.

Free People Beau Smocked Maxi Dress – $108

I’ve never worn a smock dress before, so I wasn’t sure how much I was going to like this. But I actually really liked it! It was fitted up top and then flowed out in a handkerchief sort of fashion. It would have been perfect for a housewarming party, except that one of the straps broke while I was trying it on! And there were no exchanges available. Sad day!
RETURNED.

1. State Selest Leather Bootie – $110

These leather booties are peep toe with an exposed heel and a zipper down the front. They’re surprisingly comfortable to wear and work great with the pants that I was sent in this Fix. In the end, I chose not to keep them, because I kept a pair of really cute black booties from my previous box and they would serve the same purpose. It helped to save me a little money, and I’m trying to be more practical.
RETURNED.

Dee Elly Kara Tie Detail Ribbed Knit Top – $34

I’m in love with this top. It’s fitted, but comfortable. I like the look of the ribbing detail and the tie detail on the front is super cute. The back is a deep scoop. So basically, just yes. I’m definitely keeping!

The verdict: 3/5
I loved every item in this Fix! I wanted to keep 4 items, but the dress was unfortunately defective and there wasn’t a replacement. If I had been able to keep it, I’d probably have opted to keep all 5 items and gotten the 25% discount.

Here are the two outfits that I was able to put together from this Fix:
