For this Fix I asked Courtney to send me some autumn essentials. I’m not a huge fan of rainy days and chilly air, but I do love the clothing that this season brings.
Kate Spade Small Square Studs – $38
RIP to one of the greatest minds in women’s fashion. I love the simplicity of these studs, although I probably wouldn’t call them small by any means. They’re a little on the heavier side, making them inconvenient for daily wear, but perfect with statement outfits.
Just USA Lowe Ankle Zipper Skinny Jean – $58
Can you tell at which point I realized that my husband’s dirty laundry was sitting behind me? Zipper ankles must be huge right now, because my previous Fix had a similar pair in a different color. These pants fit well, and the olive color is perfect for autumn. It actually works out that I’m receiving these now, because I recently had to get rid of a different pair of olive skinnies after years of wearing and washing.
Lush Savannah Ribbed Neck Detail Bodysuit – $38
FINALLY! A body suit. I was beginning to think that I would never ever find one that was right for me. Thank god for Courtney! I’m obsessed with this article of clothing. I really like the ribbed detail and how it makes the bodysuit stretchy and comfortable to wear. I’m in LOVE with the neckline cut outs. I feel like it’s edgy and sexy, but not in a way that makes me feel uncomfortable. This bodysuit is life!
Market and Spruce Lacie Ribbed Zipper Detail Cardigan – $68
Admittedly, I thought that I was going to hate this cardigan. I don’t really wear cardigans that often. Maybe because the only ones that I own I’d bought out of necessity (job interviews, work, events..) and not because I actually liked them. I was pleasantly surprised by this cardigan. It’s ribbed like the bodysuit and features zippers on the side purely for decoration. Even though this cardigan doesn’t button or zip closed in the front it is heavy enough to still keep me warm this season.
Kaileigh Valette Cold Shoulder Blouse – $38
Isn’t it weird how all of the prices in this box ended with an 8? And that both this blouse and the bodysuit were the same price as a pair of earrings? Just observations.. This blouse is super cute! We all know that I love cold shoulder tops, but I also really like this lemon print. It’s super fun!
The verdict: another 5/5!
Courtney does it again! I can’t remember the last time that I had this many Fixes in a row that I loved so much. This Fix had a nice surprise in it in the form of the cardigan. Everything else I pretty much knew that I was keeping as soon as I saw it. What should I ask for next time?
