I pay for this subscription.

For this Fix I asked Courtney to send me some fun Fall pieces. October is here and so is the chilly weather. Time to start getting bundled up with some adorable sweaters. I knew that Courtney was going to be shocked that I wanted to try a flannel, so it was fun to see her reaction after I specifically requested one.

RD Style Sorelle Rain Jacket – $88

Well isn’t this just adorable? The polka dot look is so classic when it comes to rain jackets. This jacket features a tie waist, which should accent my figure, but because of the stiff material I think it might actually make my hips look bigger. I don’t usually find myself in need of a raincoat, and would probably rarely wear this item. I go straight from sweatshirt to puffy winter jacket when the temperature drops, so this jacket would probably sit in my closet and be sad.
RETURNED.

Chaser Carrson Coffee Graphic Knit Top – $48

This graphic top is so fun! I’m not used to receiving items like this in my Fixes so it’s always a treat to get something so casual. This shirt is thin and lightweight. It’s super soft and comfortable to wear. The only qualm that I have is that it’s a tad small, but thankfully there is an exchange available. I love coffee, so I can totally see myself lounging on the couch on one of my days off and sipping my morning brew in this top.
EXCHANGED.

Pink Clover Alberta Lace Up Back Knit Top – $44

This shirt is definitely a party in the back. I am such a sucker for back details. It’s an actual problem. I love how soft and comfy this knit top is. It’s an XS, but still BARELY oversized, which I like in my tops! And this color.. so great for Fall! You may have seen this top featured on my Instagram page already. I’m head over heels for it!
KEPT.

Billy T Catti Mixed Plaid Button Down Top – $68

Here it is! The flannel I requested. I have to say, I’m a little disappointed that it isn’t classic flannel material. This top feels more blousey and doesn’t really have any stretch to it. Which would be fine if it was more fitted, but eh.. It doesn’t really suit my body type, does it? I’m also not a huge fan of the mixed patterns. I don’t have OCD, but there’s something in my brain that can’t handle it. What do you think? Give up on flannels? Or try again? They can’t all be bad, right?
RETURNED.

41 Hawthorn Sasha Mix Material Top – $58

I understand what Courtney was trying to accomplish with this top. I’m a fan of floral patterns usually, but this one is too dark for my taste. I also wasn’t a big fan of the fabric of this top. It was pretty stiff. In the end, I just didn’t like this one at all.
RETURNED.

The verdict: 2/5.
I didn’t keep a lot, but what I did keep I loved! To recap, I kept the Pink Clover (lace up back) top and I exchanged the Chaser (coffee graphic) top for a bigger size. You may have noticed that I also ordered an add on this month, which is the Wacoal Red Carpet Strapless Bra ($68). I’ve been hearing for forever about how amazing this bra is, so I decided to bite the bullet and finally order one. So far, I love it as much as everyone said that I would!

Thanks for reading!
