February 14th is quickly approaching and love is in the air!
Okay, okay.. clichés aside. Whether you have a hot date with your sweetheart or your best gals.. or even if you believe that Valentine’s Day is a made up holiday that only exists to generate income for greeting card companies (no judgement here!) one thing is for certain: we all want to look cute!
I’ve scoured the web to find some of the most unique items for your Valentine’s ‘fits and I’ve broken them down into categories for easy shopping.
Date night

I’m loving this lantern sleeve, tie-waist, mini dress. It can be dressed up for a dinner at a nice restaurant, or remain super casual for a mid-day brunch. I personally love it in pink, but it comes in 23 different colors. Here I’ve paired it with some cute nude heels and a sparkly wallet. The dress material is soft and thicker than I expected. If your holiday is especially chilly it would pair great with some leggings and boots. I normally wear a size 0/XS in dresses, but since this item only comes as small as a S, that’s what I purchased. Because it is a tie-waist I feel like the fit is flexible. You can make it as tight or as loose as you would prefer, so I would order whatever your normal size is.
Galentine’s hangout

I saw this romantic looking ruffle top and just knew that I had to build an outfit around it for V-Day. It comes in 10 different colors and ranges from sizes XS – XXL. It’s made of a stretchy material with a zip closure on the back. I found that it was TTS. The ruffle detail is so cute. I was concerned that it might be obnoxious at first, but that wasn’t the case at all!
While the top would look great paired with shorts and leggings or some skinny jeans, I saw this skirt and knew that it was a no brainer. The laser cutout scallop hem is giving me LIFE. These dainty, feminine details are the perfect accent that will make you actually believe in true love. It comes in 18 different colors and patterns and features a stretchy material and elastic band. It’s available in XS- XXL. I purchased in an XS and find it to be true to size. At 5’5″ it hits me just below mid-thigh.
And, of course, as though this outfit wasn’t fairytale enough, these patterned fishnet stockings were the perfect cherry on top. They come in packs of 4 and there are 3 different varieties. I chose the more floral of the bunch because I know I’ll be able to wear them with a lot of outfits. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality. They stay up and the toes are reinforced, so I feel confident that I’ll be able to use these tights over and over again. I pulled this outfit together with some white, block heeled booties and now I’m ready for a night out with my gals!
Kickin’ it on the couch

Hey man, some people just honestly believe that Valentine’s Day is totally for the birds. No judgement! I’ve crafted this outfit for you anti-lovebirds out there. Expectation: an itchy, ill fitting, baggy sweater. Reality: quite the opposite! For some reason there is no XS, only XS – S, so that’s what I chose. Otherwise it goes from S – XL. I readied myself for it to be baggy. However, it really fit quite well. It was loose in the body, and fitted in the sleeves. That being said, I would air on the side of caution and probably size up if you’re in between sizes. There are 27 colors to choose from, assuring you’ll be able to find exactly what you need to match your current wardrobe. The knit is a little spaced out, so I would recommend wearing your cutest bralette underneath for improved comfort.
The joggers that I’ve paired with this top have over 3,000 reviews and are wildly popular. I was super excited for them! They were a bit thinner than I expected, but still soft and comfortable for lounging purposes. I would not recommend buying them to keep you warm. While comfortable, they are very lightweight. Possibly good for working out in as they’re breathable. They range in size from XS – XXL and I found them to be true to size. There are 37 different patterns to choose from.
Now let’s talk about these GORGEOUS rose gold sparkly sneakers. I’ve had bad luck with finding shoes on Amazon that are good quality, so I was a little nervous to order these. But they’re so pretty that I just had to take the chance! I’m so thankful that I did! Now, I will say, they come in sizes 5 – 11 and I ordered my normal size of 6.5. They fit, but felt a little restricting. I plan to size up a half size to a 7 for a more comfortable fit. Otherwise I thought that they were easy to walk in but are definitely only fashion sneakers. Don’t try to wear them to run/workout. They arrived looking just as they had online and I haven’t noticed any shedding of glitter as of yet. The glitter is hard though, so beware if you cross your legs/ankles. They will scratch you. If rose gold isn’t your jam (but I mean, isn’t it everyone’s?) there are 12 other colors to choose from.

Fuzzy Oversized Hooded Sweatshirt
Admittedly, this is probably my favorite item from this entire haul because of how versatile and comfortable it is. It’s SO soft. Like, exactly how soft you think it’s going to be when you look at it in pictures. I just want to curl up in it and take a nap. It’s already oversized, so I got my normal size and it fit just how I wanted it to. It comes in S – XXL and in 21 different colors and patterns. I’m having a real hard time not wearing this every single day!
